DESCRIPTION

Contains high-strength palmitoylethanolamide (P.E.A), an analgesic that relieves the symptoms of mild arthritis and mild osteoarthritis, and reduces mild joint soreness, aches and pains. 

Can be used for dogs needing relief from mild nerve pain and neuralgia.

Is documented to counteract inflammation, pain and itchiness in dogs.

Is documented to be effective in reducing pruritus and skin lesions and improving quality of life in dogs with moderate atopic dermatitis and moderate pruritus.

Has been shown to restore gut barrier integrity and reduce symptoms of IBD in dogs.

INGREDIENTS

Each 500 mg scoop contains:
Ultra-micronised Palmitoylethanolamide (P.E.A) 200 mg
Sunflower lecithin 300 mg

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

The dosing instructions have recently been updated based on feedback from veterinarians who use this product in their clinics.

Give 1 flat scoop per 10kg of body weight once or twice daily in food, or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional.

Best results are achieved when given twice daily.

For dogs with chronic skin, allergy or pain issues, it is recommended to start by giving a loading dose of double the stated label dose for the first 1-2 weeks (duration depending on the severity of the case), then reduce to the recommended label dose ongoing.

CAUTIONS

Theoretically, mucilaginous herbs such as slippery elm, pectin and marshmallow root may slow down the absorption of prescription medications. Separate doses by 2 hours.

Licorice can increase blood pressure. Do not use in dogs with hypertension or severe renal insufficiency without professional supervision.

Use with caution in pregnant or lactating animals as safe use in pregnant and lactating animals has not been established.
